Day 01: Arrival at Chennai

Arrive Chennai, meet & assistance at the airport/railway station and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Chennai.

Day 02: Chennai - Mahabalipuram (By Surface)

Morning after breakfast check-out from the hotel and proceed for the city sigthseeing tour of Chennai. Visit the St. Thomas Cathedral which houses the grave of St. Thomas the Apostle, the Bronze Museum & Mylapore Temple. After sightseeing continue to Mahabalipuram. Arrive Mahabalipuram and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.

Day 03: Mahabalipuram

Morning after breakfast proceed for the city sigthseeing tour of Mahabalipuram. Mahabalipuram was the 7th century port city of the Pallava dynasty, and was formerly known as 'Mammallapuram' after the great wrestler king Narshimvarman I who took on the title of 'Maha-malla' or 'great wrestler'. Some of the famous attractions in this wonderful town are; Shore Temple which one of the oldest structures dating back to 700 AD and has been around for almost 1400 years.One of the main attractions of this temple is the ancient Shiva Lingam which is enshrined in the central building.Five Rathas or the Pancha Pandava Rathas are chariots that are dating from the 7th century and these sculptures are complemented by some really enormous stone animals that also includes a large elephant. Overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.

Day 04: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (By Surface)

Morning after breakfast drive to Pondicherry. Arrive Pondicherry and check-in at the hotel. Later proceed for city sightseeing tour of Pondicherry. Visit Aurbindo Ashram - this ashram is famous because of it represents an amalgamation of modern science and yoga. Some of the famous attractions which include the Auroville, Eglise de Sacred Coeur De Jesus, Arikamedu, Serenity Beach, The French Heritage, The Statue of Dupleix. Overnight stay in Pondicherry.

Day 05: Pondicherry - Thanjavur (By Surface)

Morning after breakfast drive to Thanjavur . Arrive Thanjavur and check-in at the hotel. Later visit the Brahadishwara Temple (Brahadeeswara temple) built by Rajaraja Chola during the 11th century. The Brahadishwara Temple, also known as the Big Temple. The Saraswathi Mahal Library, which contains over 30,000 Indian and European manuscripts written on palm leaf and paper. And the Palace was built partly by the Nayaks of Vijayanagar in 1550 AD, and partly by the Marathas. Overnight stay in Thanjavur.

Day 06: Thanjavur- Trichy

Morning after breakfast drive to Trichy . Arrive Trichy and check-in at the hotel. Later visit the popular Ranganathaswamy Temple is the foremost of the eight self-manifested shrines (Swayam Vyakta Kshetras) of Lord Vishnu. Some other attractions are: the Rock-Fort is the landmark of Trichy and Sri Jambukeshwara Temple . Overnight stay in Trichy.

Day 07: Departure

Morning after breakfast departurer transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward journey . Tour ends with sweet memories...
